This website proposes to explore the goodness of God as expressed in the Bible and in the daily life of faith in Jesus Christ.
“Whatever is Good” alludes to Philippians 4:8 in the Bible. Focusing our thinking on our good God and on the good world He created leads to a faith that walks and works in the world in all settings, from our home to our neighborhood, to our nation and the world. God’s goodness is pertinent to politics and all aspects of life.
The writer is an evangelical Christian. Part of my purpose is to restore the sense of goodness and good news to the “evangel” in the name of my subset of faith folk. Some brothers and sisters that I love are discouraged in this new 21st century, that a Christian emphasis on the Bible has led many away from God’s goodness. I suggest that a thorough, in-depth understanding of the whole Bible, the “whole counsel of God” will show God fully as good.
